I had listened to my cousin's BD60blu ray player, and that totally sold me on getting one for myself. I am kind of a stickler for research, so I started getting information on different models, and reading reviews. After looking at virtually every manufacturer, I decided that panasonic was the way to go. I got 67.00 off list at Amazon.com, plus free shipping, so I figured it was the best time to buy the BD60.

To put it bluntly, I really love the Panasonic BD60! Amazingly, I can play all my blu ray discs and they all load in the blink of an eye! The picture quality is also top notch, and the player is compact, slim and great looking. Basically, it does an awesome job all around.

I love the fact that you don't have to be a "rocket scientist" to figure out the remote. The set up of the BD60 took a lot less time than I expected. The included manual is even easy for me to understand and I am technically challenged.

Within minutes I had it hooked up to my computer, and BD Live works perfectly!. Conveniently, the blu ray BD60 regularly checks for, and informs me of updates. All I have to do is put a disc in, and sit back, relax and not go crazy waiting for the disc to load.

I must say that I am getting spoiled VERY quickly!

The Panasonic BD60 is definitely an investment, but it is a great excuse to build an excellent quality home theatre system. It is considered a high end blu ray player, without the high end price! It is, simply put, a great value!

I am discovering that blu ray movies are becoming more reasonable in price. It seems like more films come out on blu ray almost every week. I actually think that a good blu ray experience is better than watching a film at the movies.

The BD60 provides picture clarity that will knock your socks off! the audio is so life like that sometimes it is hard to know that it isn't real! The films really come to life.

Remarkably, even boring old films with lots of dialogue sound super. The BD60 provides color rich video, precise detail and an excellent line between blacks and whites. Audio, again, is superb!

It is important to realize, however, that any player, even the BD60, is only as good as the quality of your overall system. Common sense should tell you that picture quality largely depends on the quality of your hd t.v. When your system includes a good receiver, your video and audio will be enhanced.
